Over 30 Years of Experience
Mary Beth Smith received her undergraduate degree in political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1988 and graduated with a Juris Doctorate from the University of North Carolina School of Law in Chapel Hill in 1991 at the age of twenty-four. While in law school Smith was selected to work for the Office of Legal Counsel for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in the CIA Headquarters in Langley, Virginia. She was granted Top Secret security clearance at the age of twenty-two. While at the CIA Smith was also selected and worked on special assignment at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C.
